Patrick is an executive with over 30 years’ experience in banking, advanced technology, architecture, systems development, and management consulting.
Patrick is responsible for the Technology Strategy and Architecture within the Credit Suisse Group, focusing on the transformation of the technology function into a hybrid provider of integrated services. Before Credit Suisse he was groups CTO and Head of Strategy & Planning of the Technology, Services & Operations (GTSO) division at Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ). Patrick is also Chairman of the EBF Cloud computing expert group.
He has worked with many companies across Europe, Asia, Australia and North America, including Bankers Trust Alex Brown, start-up investment bank WIT Capital, Rabobank International, IBM, and Axa amongst others.
Patrick is equally passionate about technology and inspiring his teams to achieve shared success and the satisfaction and rewards that accompany it. He has spoken extensively at international conferences on financial services topics including technology, strategy, and innovation, and has delivered guest lectures to a number of universities. He is an Enterprise Professor in the Engineering School of Melbourne University.
