Member of European Parliament - VVD/ALDE
In 1999, Caroline Nagtegaal started studying Public Administration at the University Rotterdam. Righ after the end of her studies, she became a Public Sector Consultant at KPMG. From 2010 to 2015, she worked at the Port of Rotterdam as a Senior Advisor European & International Affaires. Between 2015 and 2017, Caroline Nagtegaal managed the Public and External Affairs at the Royal Schiphol Group. While at the same time, from 2013 to 2017, she was the secretary of the Committee for the Promotion of National Interests in Rotterdam. From 2015 to 2017, she took on the role of chairman of the VVD Roterdam (Volkspartij voor Vrijheid en Democratie). Caroline Nagtegaal has been a member of the European Parliament since November 2017 for the VVD. Currently, she is in the advisory board of the Theater Walhalla and member of the Supervisory Board Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra.
